@sarasotajoe: I was talking about “hidden” apps, i.e. what you get when you hit cmd-H or choose “Hide” in the app Dock menu. All the windows from the apps disappear from the screen, and won’t show up in Expose anymore… except the minimized windows. I’m still seeing this in 10.6.1.

Can anyone tell me what to copy in/usr/local/bin.
I’ve downloaded proxytunne1.9.0 and unpacked it with stuffit and I’ve got many files in that folder.
which file do I need to copy ????

Paul, I was able to get iChat to work with your last post using port 443 but haven’t successfully run a Video Session. Are you aware of any further config that would allow for that functionality?

Same here, I am just as suprised as you are. QuickLook should use the BOM byte to identify the encoding (at least for Unicode files), instead of this unused xattr field.

The other thing: Why is MacRoman is the default? I personally dont have _any_ MacRoman encoded files, the all are UTF-8 or ISO-8859-2 (I am Hungarian) or ISO-8859-1. MacRoman is obsolete, I think.

“One weird thing though: if you hide an application, its minimized windows still show up in expose, the others don’t.” I’m not finding this. Even with an app hidden, exposé shows me active windows above and hidden windows below.

Also – a third way to get to hidden apps is to click on the Window menu in the menubar. Hidden windows appear with a ♦diamond next to them, active windows appear with a ✓check mark.
